    Poetry

If you like poems, try "Thoughts Like an Ocean", "Say That Again" and "Look Out". There are some of my poems in each of these books.

  • KS2: 7-11 age readers For 13-16 age readers KS1: 5-7 age readers
  • You'll also find my poems in "A Seaside Treat",edited by Chris A Stephens, and "Second Thoughts" edited by Neil Nuttall and Andy Hawkins.

    Plays

  • Like play-reading? Then try "Can I be the Ghost?" I'm in that book, too. That play is all about a girl who really believes that she doesn't belong in her ordinary Welsh home. No, she believes she is a princess, and that one day her real Mum and Dad will come and collect her. And then, one day, it happens…

"Sion and the Bargain Bee", the picture book, is now a play for Key Stage 2 children. There are narrators and all your favourite characters (including a fearsome wild boar with attitude). I had loads of fun writing that!

A new book, published in 2007, also has one of my plays in it:  'A Gift for St David's Day'.  It's a sort of play within a play, and was a lot of fun to write ~ hope you'll have fun performing it, too!
